Accepted. Humans are strange. They’ll turn down food. They’ll even deliberately starve themselves. Most other species will eat anytime there’s food and an empty belly.
Yeah I think that was a good call on her. Sure he might be being friendly, but there’s lots of humans out there that look friendly but really aren’t too.
And considering these guys do operate in some ways that are still very animal like that’s even more reason to be cautious.
Hmmm. I think she is right to be cautious. He said that he had not spoken to anyone in a while. She would have to enter another clans land, and perhaps there is some Shivae protocol involved. The thoughtful expression in the fourth panel is wonderful.
It seems that Shivae thinks a lot like a human. A stray cat that roams my neighbourhood just walks into anyone’s yard if there is food.

What planet are you from? Surely you are not aware of the human condition if you are not familiar with any species that would turn down food.
